President Donald Trump’s visit to Qatar got off to an impressive start, with the country making sure to leave a lasting impression even before he arrived.

Similar to Saudi Arabia, which had arranged a fighter jet escort a day earlier, Qatar made sure Trump’s arrival was greeted with a grand gesture. As Trump flew into Riyadh on Tuesday and then onto Doha on Wednesday, he was escorted by F-15 fighter jets from both nations—an extraordinary and rare sight.

Margo Martin, a White House official, shared videos of the spectacular escorts. On Tuesday, she posted a clip with the caption, “Saudi F-15’s providing honorary escort for Air Force One!” The Royal Saudi Air Force boasts the largest fleet of American-made F-15s, second only to the U.S. Air Force itself.

On Wednesday, Martin shared another post, saying, “What a view flying into Qatar!!!” She even captured a Qatari aviator, seated in the backseat of the F-15, snapping a photo of Air Force One in return.
