Tracy Morgan has revealed that food poisoning was the cause of his illness during Monday’s Knicks-Heat game, and he’s now “doing OK.”

The actor and comedian shared an update on Instagram Tuesday morning, posting a smiling photo from his hospital bed and thanking fans for their concern. He humorously suggested that his health incident might have brought good luck to the Knicks.

“I’m doing ok now, and doctors say it was food poisoning. Big thanks to my MSG family for taking such great care of me, and a shoutout to the crew who had to clean up. Appreciate you!” Morgan wrote.

He added, “More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court, so maybe I’ll have to bring it out again in the playoffs,” ending with a #goknicks hashtag.

Morgan fell ill in the second half of the game, causing a disruption at Madison Square Garden with 6:09 remaining in the third quarter while workers cleaned up the area around his seat. The delay lasted over 10 minutes, and the Knicks eventually won 116-95.

The 56-year-old Tracy Morgan, a devoted Knicks fan, was a key figure during the “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary weekend celebrations. He appeared in both the “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” and the live “SNL50: The Anniversary Celebration” special.

In addition to his recent appearances, Morgan is set to star in an upcoming untitled comedy pilot on NBC alongside Daniel Radcliffe. In the show, he plays a disgraced former football player who is trying to rebuild his image.
