Tiger Woods found himself in an awkward situation during a TGL indoor match on Tuesday night. With 199 yards to the hole, his teammates at Jupiter Links mistakenly heard “99 yards” from the caddies, as they often omit the first number when it’s obvious. Woods, thinking it was indeed 99 yards, hit a wedge, and the shot traveled just 100 yards.

After losing the 13th hole to Cameron Young of New York Golf Club, Woods laughed off the mishap, calling it one of the most embarrassing moments of his career. “I just screwed up. That was embarrassing,” Woods admitted on the ESPN broadcast. His teammates, Kevin Kisner and Tom Kim, couldn’t stop laughing at the mix-up.

In the end, New York Golf Club won the match 10-3, never trailing during the game.
