A terrorist attack targeted a military unit in Nagrota, near Jammu, according to sources. Meanwhile, multiple ceasefire violations by Pakistan occurred late Saturday evening along the International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LoC) in different areas of Jammu and Kashmir. Security sources reported that the Border Security Force (BSF) has been instructed to strongly retaliate against the unprovoked cross-border firing.

The violations began after 8 pm, with Pakistan firing at areas near the IB, including Palwan and Ghanachak. Intense firing was also reported in various parts of Jammu, including the RS Pura sector. The BSF is currently responding forcefully to these provocations.

The BSF is actively countering the cross-border firing in Jammu’s RS Pura sector, and additional firing incidents have been reported along the LoC in the Akhnoor sector. The Indian Army is gathering information from local formations regarding the situation.
