Around Christmas, the famous singer Taylor Swift made a generous donation of $250,000 to the organization ‘Operation Breakthrough’ in Kansas City. Operation Breakthrough provides high-quality childcare and programs for children from working poor families.
The donation will support the organization’s three main programs:

Swift’s friend and Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce has supported and financed ‘Operation Breakthrough’ for the past 10 years. He often visits the kids without the media, remembers their names, and organizes events like pizza parties with them.
While Taylor Swift has yet to visit ‘Operation Breakthrough’, she is likely to visit Travis in the future. “Maybe she’ll come with Travis in the future, but we’re very grateful for this special gift she gave us,” Esselman says.
