Devout Family Values Fox Host Sean Hannity Engaged for Second Marriage

Fox News hosts Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt got engaged over the holiday season, the network confirmed on Thursday.

In a statement, the couple expressed their joy, saying, “We are overjoyed and so thankful to our families for all of their love and support during this wonderful time in our lives.”

Although neither of them had shared news of the engagement on social media by Thursday evening, Earhardt did post a Christmas photo on Instagram featuring herself, Hannity, and some family members.

After the engagement announcement, several well-wishers sent their congratulations, including former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, who called them “two wonderful people” on X (formerly Twitter), and Florida Congressman Michael Waltz, who is set to become the incoming National Security Adviser.

Both Ainsley Earhardt and Sean Hannity have been married before. Earhardt has been married twice, while Hannity has been married once. They each have children from their previous marriages—Earhardt with one child and Hannity with two.

Hannity and his first wife revealed in 2020 that they had been divorced since 2019. Similarly, Earhardt finalized her divorce from ex-husband Will Proctor in 2019. That same year, both Hannity and Earhardt attended a wedding at the Trump National Golf Course in New Jersey as guests of former Fox News weekend host Pete Hegseth, according to Vanity Fair.

Fox reported that Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt maintain a good relationship with their ex-spouses. The couple shared with Fox that they informed their former partners about the engagement in advance.

Hannity proposed to Earhardt at “their home church,” although it’s not clear whether the proposal took place in Florida, where Hannity lives, or in New York, where Earhardt is based.

Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt, who share a strong bond over their faith, described their church as the “perfect place” for the proposal. Afterward, they reportedly met with their minister.

In a 2019 interview on Earhardt’s Fox Nation show Ainsley’s Bible Study, Hannity explained that although he had left the Catholic Church due to concerns about “institutionalized corruption,” his Christian faith had only grown stronger. This would have made it impossible for him to remarry in the Catholic Church.

Earlier this year, after months of hinting at the move, Hannity announced he was broadcasting his radio show from Florida, after many years in New York. In April 2021, he also purchased a $5.3 million mansion located near Mar-a-Lago, the Florida golf club and residence of his friend, Donald Trump.
