Sony’s PlayStation Network (PSN) is currently facing significant connectivity issues, leaving gamers unable to log in or create new accounts across all PlayStation devices. This disruption has been confirmed by Sony on their official support page.

The message on the PSN status page reads, “You might have difficulty launching games, apps, or network features. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.”

According to Downdetector, a site that monitors service disruptions, the outage began around 7:00 AM IST in India and is affecting gamers not only in India but also significantly in the United States and other regions. Reports of issues have been particularly high in the US market.

Many players have taken to social media to express their frustration, noting that they are unable to sign into their accounts, create new profiles or modify existing account details. It is affecting a wide range of PlayStation platforms, including the PS5, PS4, PS Vita and PS3.

The outage has understandably frustrated many players, especially those looking to unwind after a long day at work with some gaming sessions on their PlayStation consoles. As the situation unfolds, users are eagerly awaiting updates from Sony on when normal service will resume.

Sony is actively working to rectify the situation and restore full functionality to the network.
