Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan fell ill during the second half of Monday night’s Heat-Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, causing a pause in the game.

With 6:09 left in the third quarter, play was temporarily halted while arena workers cleaned the area around Morgan’s courtside seat. The delay lasted over 10 minutes.

A spokesperson for Madison Square Garden expressed their hope that Morgan feels better soon and that he’ll be back in his seat for future games. Attempts to reach Morgan’s representatives for comment were unsuccessful.

The 56-year-old Morgan, a dedicated Knicks fan, was featured during the “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary events, including the “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” and the live “SNL50: The Anniversary Celebration” special.

Morgan also stars in an upcoming untitled comedy pilot on NBC, where he plays a disgraced former football player looking to rebuild his image, alongside Daniel Radcliffe.

The Knicks went on to win the game 116-95.

“First and foremost, we hope everything is okay with Tracy Morgan,” said Knicks forward Josh Hart after the victory. “He’s a lifelong Knicks fan, so our thoughts and prayers are with him for his health and safety.”
