Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have renewed their collaboration with Netflix and their media company, Archewell Productions, through a multiyear first-look agreement, the couple announced Monday.

Their partnership with Netflix began in 2020 and has produced several documentary projects, including the well-received “Harry & Meghan.” In addition, Meghan launched a lifestyle brand called As Ever in partnership with the streaming service.

Together, they have also released documentary series such as “Polo,” “Heart of Invictus,” and “Live to Lead.”

Meghan expressed enthusiasm about the ongoing work, saying, “My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally, and celebrates our shared vision.”

Looking ahead, they revealed plans for a second season of “With Love, Meghan,” a lifestyle and cooking series starring Meghan. This show will also feature a special holiday episode airing in December. Since its launch in March, it has become Netflix’s most-watched culinary program, with 5.3 million views during the first half of the year, according to Netflix’s semiannual report.

Additionally, a documentary short film titled “Masaka Kids, A Rhythm Within,” which focuses on a small orphanage in Uganda’s Masaka region, is slated for release this year. Archewell is also working on a feature film adaptation of Carley Fortune’s novel “Meet Me at the Lake,” which tells a decade-long love story sparked by a chance meeting and a broken promise.

Bela Bajaria, Netflix’s chief content officer, praised the couple, stating, “Harry and Meghan are influential voices whose stories resonate with audiences everywhere. The response to their work speaks for itself.”

This extended deal with Netflix is part of Harry and Meghan’s broader efforts to establish their media ventures in the United States. They signed a multiyear agreement with Spotify in 2020 and produced the podcast “Archetypes,” though they ended that partnership in 2023.

Having stepped back from their roles within the British royal family, the couple now reside in California with their two young children.
