Just a day before facing France’s Corentin Moutet in the second round of the French Open, Novak Djokovic took a break from the tournament routine for a nighttime bike ride through the heart of Paris.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion swapped his tennis gear for a dark blue tracksuit and helmet as he cycled around the Arc de Triomphe, navigating one of the busiest and least bike-friendly roundabouts in the city with surprising ease.
Footage of the 38-year-old Serbian star enjoying the ride was shared on social media, showing him soaking in the sights of the City of Light like a relaxed tourist. At one point, someone shouted “I love you!” to which Djokovic smiled and replied, “I love you, too.”
The moment of calm and charm comes as Djokovic celebrates a major milestone: his 100th career title. With that achievement behind him, he’s now focused on adding a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title to his name.
His casual outing on the cobblestone streets of Paris was a rare and humanizing glimpse into the life of one of tennis’s greatest competitors — a champion who knows how to enjoy the ride, both on and off the court.
