Diesel evokes zombie apocalypse at Milan Fashion Week with milky gazes and spray-painted smiles

Italian denim brand Diesel embraced a zombie apocalypse theme for its Fall-Winter 2025-26 co-ed collection, showcased on the second day of Milan Fashion Week. Models walked a graffiti-covered runway, sporting eerie, milky gazes and spray-painted smiles.

The collection featured daring silhouettes, including mini skirts that functioned more like peplums and required leggings or matching panties. Men’s fashion embraced low-rise jeans with a cheeky twist.

Diesel has become a standout at fashion week, partly due to its textile innovations. Notable pieces included a silicone fisherman-pattern V-neck with chest hair detailing and denim with a reflective sheen, while jersey pieces appeared to dissolve.

Designer Glenn Martens is set to bring his creative vision to the Parisian fashion house Maison Margiela, which shares an Italian owner, succeeding John Galliano. No creative changes have been announced for Diesel.
