Demi Lovato has officially tied the knot. The 32-year-old singer and actor married Canadian singer-songwriter Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, 34, during an intimate ceremony held in California on Sunday. The wedding was first reported exclusively by Vogue.
The couple first met while collaborating on Lovato’s 2022 album Holy Fvck, where Lutes contributed as a co-writer on several tracks, including “Happy Ending,” “City of Angels,” and the high-energy single “Substance.” Their working relationship soon turned romantic, and after nearly two years together, Lutes proposed in December 2023.
On their big day, Lovato wore an elegant white dress by Vivienne Westwood, while Lutes opted for a sharp Saint Laurent suit, reflecting the stylish tone of their celebration.
Lovato’s career began in childhood with roles on Barney & Friends, later gaining mainstream fame through Disney Channel hits like the Camp Rock movies and the TV series Sonny with a Chance. In addition to acting, Lovato has built a successful music career, known for her powerful soprano voice and a discography that includes eight studio albums.
Lutes, an independent artist, blends genres like emo, pop-punk, and trap in his music. He was previously signed with Capitol Records but has since carved out his own path in the music industry.
Before finding love with Lutes, Lovato was briefly engaged to actor Max Ehrich in 2020, though that relationship ended just two months after the engagement was announced.
