Wolverhampton striker Matheus Cunha has been charged with misconduct after an incident on Saturday following Wolves’ 2-1 loss to Ipswich at Molineux. The Brazil international was seen pushing an Ipswich security team member and grabbing their glasses during a chaotic post-match confrontation.

The altercation occurred after Wolves conceded a stoppage-time goal, leading to the loss. Cunha, who has been in great form this season, scoring eight goals, is one of the standout players for Wolves, who are currently second-to-last in the Premier League. On Sunday, the club sacked manager Gary O’Neil.

If Cunha is found guilty of the charge by the Football Association, he could face a suspension. He has until Thursday to respond to the charge. Additionally, his teammate, Rayan Ait-Nouri, was also sent off after the match due to the heated scenes following Ipswich’s dramatic winner.
