Users expressed frustration as many did not see their account balances in the app, while others reported that their accounts had $0 balance. One person commented on Downdetector, “The app is not working and online banking is showing yesterday’s balance.” Another user noted, “Both app and browser access is still partially closed. I can see some accounts, but not all, and the transfer function doesn’t work for any accounts,” while a third noted that he couldn’t log in, but his wife could and her accounts didn’t show any balances. A fourth user jokingly commented, “My debt is fine though.”
In response to the situation, Bank of America later acknowledged the issues, saying, “These issues are being addressed and largely resolved.” They apologized for any inconvenience caused to their customers.
