The Colorado Avalanche traded for center Juuso Parssinen from the Nashville Predators on Saturday. In return, the Avalanche sent forward Ondrej Pavel and a third-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft to Nashville, along with a seventh-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.
Parssinen, 23, recorded two goals and three assists in 15 games for the Predators this season. Over the course of 2 1/2 seasons in Nashville, he has accumulated 16 goals and 26 assists in 104 career games.
Pavel, 24, joined Colorado as a free agent on March 30, 2023, after spending three seasons at Minnesota State University-Mankato. He has played two NHL games with the Avalanche but has yet to register a point.
