A company producing baby food sold under Target’s store brand is recalling over 25,000 packages of a product due to concerns about elevated lead levels.

The Miami-based company, Fruselva, issued the recall in March for Target’s Good & Gather Baby Pea, Zucchini, Kale & Thyme Vegetable Puree, which is sold in 4-ounce containers. The affected packages are marked with lot numbers 4167 (best-by date: Dec. 7) and 4169 (best-by date: Dec. 9).

Consumers are advised not to feed these products to babies.

The recall is categorized as Class II, meaning that while the products are unlikely to cause serious harm, they could potentially lead to temporary or reversible health issues.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there is no safe level of lead exposure for children. Exposure to lead can cause developmental and cognitive issues.
