Bruce Springsteen, famously known as “The Boss,” is set to drop seven new studio albums titled “Tracks II: The Lost Albums” on June 27. This massive collection will feature 83 songs, with 74 of them previously unreleased, showcasing material written and recorded between 1983 and 2018. The box set will also include a 100-page hardcover book, adding extra value for fans.
Springsteen announced the release via Instagram, sharing that during the COVID-19 pandemic, he revisited his vault and completed unfinished projects. In a video clip, he explained, “The Lost Albums are records that were full records, some of them even mixed and just waiting to be released.”
The announcement followed a teaser video posted on his Instagram the day before, hinting at “The Lost Albums” with the message, “What was lost has been found.”
This new collection follows Springsteen’s 1998 release, “Tracks,” a 4-CD set featuring 66 unreleased songs. His most recent studio album, “Only the Strong Survive,” released in 2022, was a covers album where he reinterpreted classics from legends like the Four Tops, Temptations, and Supremes.
Springsteen’s next major project is a European and U.K. tour with the E Street Band, kicking off on May 17 in Manchester, England, and wrapping up on July 3 in Milan, Italy, at the San Siro Stadium.
