Tiger Woods has confirmed his relationship with Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump, by sharing two photos on social media with a caption that read, “Love is in the air.”
Woods and Vanessa, who was previously married to Donald Trump Jr., were recently spotted together at Torrey Pines in San Diego. Vanessa’s daughter, Kai, joined them during Woods’ appearance at the final round of the Genesis Invitational, where Woods presented the trophy to the winner. He serves as the tournament’s host.
Kai Trump attends the Benjamin School alongside Woods’ children, Sam and Charlie. Kai and Charlie also participated in a prestigious junior golf tournament this week.
In his post, Woods expressed his joy, saying, “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together.” He also requested privacy for himself and those close to him, asking for respect during this time.
One of the photos shared by Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump shows them posing together, while the other captures them relaxing in a hammock, with Vanessa’s arm resting across Woods’ chest as he looks up at the sky.
In recent weeks, Woods and Vanessa Trump have been frequently mentioned in gossip media. Vanessa was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. for 12 years, during which they had five children.
On March 11, Tiger Woods revealed that he had ruptured his left Achilles tendon, which will keep him from participating in the Masters and likely sideline him for the rest of the year.
It remains unclear what led Woods, who is known for keeping his personal life private, to share photos confirming his relationship with Vanessa Trump. The move recalls a similar situation in 2013, when Woods and Lindsey Vonn both posted pictures together to publicly acknowledge their relationship.
At the time, Woods explained that he and Vonn wanted to limit the attention from paparazzi and intrusive websites. He expressed concern that this attention could create dangerous situations involving his children, and added that by sharing their own photos, they would reduce the power of the paparazzi.
Tiger Woods has two children from his marriage to Elin Nordegren, who divorced him in 2010 after his multiple extramarital affairs were revealed.
His only other well-known relationship was with Erica Herman, which lasted around seven years before they parted ways in October 2022. Their breakup was complicated, and Herman later dropped lawsuits she had filed against Woods and the trust that owns his South Florida property, where she had been residing.
