Mac McClung claimed his third consecutive NBA Slam Dunk contest victory during the All-Star weekend in San Francisco by performing a stunning dunk over a car. The 26-year-old, who has only played five minutes in one NBA game for the Orlando Magic this season, received perfect 50-point scores for all of his dunks.

For his first dunk, McClung leaped over a car parked under the basket, with a person holding the ball up through the sunroof. He finished the dunk with a reverse slam. His second dunk featured him jumping over a standing person while performing a mid-air twist.

Mac McClung completed his perfect performance in the NBA Slam Dunk contest with a third perfect score for a jaw-dropping dunk. He soared to dunk a ball passed to him by a man spinning on a hoverboard, while simultaneously dunking a second ball held by someone standing on a ladder.

McClung, standing at 6 feet 2 inches, secured his victory by dunking over Cleveland Cavaliers player Evan Mobley, who is 6 feet 11 inches tall and was positioned on a small platform.

After defeating Stephon Castle of the San Antonio Spurs in the final round, McClung thanked those who helped him prepare, saying, “Truly, stuff like this doesn’t happen without standing on the shoulders of a lot of people.” He expressed gratitude for those who supported him, including those who opened gyms and allowed him to use their cars for the stunts.

While McClung is mostly known for playing in the NBA’s G League, where he was named the MVP last season, he has only appeared in five NBA games, playing for teams including the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers, and Orlando Magic.
