The Princess of Wales, Kate, has expressed a desire for the public to focus more on her work and less on her fashion choices. According to the Sunday Times, Kensington Palace plans to limit the naming of the luxury brands she wears moving forward.
Kate, married to Prince William, the eldest son of King Charles III, is known for her sophisticated style, often wearing high-end designers like Chanel, Alexander McQueen, and Jenny Packham. Her fashion choices have frequently boosted the brands she wears.
However, Kate has reportedly grown frustrated with the attention her wardrobe receives, believing it distracts from the important causes she champions. She is actively involved in early childhood development through her foundation and is also launching a new initiative focused on developing social and emotional skills.
During a recent visit to Wales, the palace chose not to reveal details about her clothing. On that trip, Kate, who recently shared news of being in remission from an undisclosed cancer, met with children at a hospice charity she supports.
While her clothing may still be highlighted for major state or royal family events, the palace intends to shift focus away from her attire for other public appearances.
