Jill Jacobson, known for roles in ‘Star Trek’ and ‘Falcon Crest,’ has died at 70

Star Trek: The Next Generation and Falcon Crest actress Jill Jacobson has died at the age of 70.

Jacobson died on December 8 at Culver West Health Center at Cedars- Sinai in Los Angeles, California. His death was announced by his PR manager and longtime friend Daniel Harari to Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.

Daniel Harari announced that Jill died after a long illness. His manager Ben Padua also confirmed the sad news to Entertainment Weekly.

“We are deeply saddened to say goodbye to our beautiful, smiling, ridiculously funny and brilliant Jill Jacobson, who reminded us of the Golden Age of Hollywood,” Padua said in a statement. “Jill was an incredibly powerful actress, whose comedic timing seemed straight out of a Marx Brothers film, and she had a timeless appeal.”

Beginning of acting career:-

Jill Jacobson began her acting career with a lead role in the 1977 low- budget horror film Nurse Sherry. He then went on to star in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Days of Our Lives, Castle, Hung, Newhart and Who’s the Boss? Worked in many famous serials like

She played the role of Erin Jones in the popular CBS soap opera Falcon Crest. He acted in more than 20 episodes in the series which ran for 9 seasons. During the same period, Jill also appeared in the series The New Gidget, where she played LaRue Wilson.
His last role was in the 2020 series Atheria.

Childhood and Education in Texas:-

Jill Jacobson was born in Beaumont and Dallas, Texas. He earned a BA in Radio, TV and Film Performance from the University of Texas, Austin before venturing into acting. S. degree was obtained. He then decided to pursue a career in acting in Los Angeles.

A Lasting memory:-

Ben Padua, Jacobson’s manager, paid tribute to her memory, saying, “Jill took us through many exciting experiences. She was always a positive energy. Working with her was a wonderful journey.”

“Jill, your memories will live on in our dreams. Your smile and acting filled our lives, thank you so much,” Padua concluded his statement.

A bright star in Hollywood:-

Jill Jacobson’s career was a perfect example of how with quality acting and hard work an artist can make a place in the hearts of the audience. With his passing, the entertainment world has lost a bright star, but his memory will live on through his roles.
