Wide receiver George Pickens was a late addition to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ injury report this week due to a hamstring issue. Although he wasn’t listed on the report earlier in the week, he was marked as a limited participant in Friday’s practice. This has raised uncertainty about his availability for Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, with Pickens being officially listed as questionable.
Pickens is expected to play, but his status will depend on how he feels during pregame warmups.
So far this season, Pickens has recorded 55 receptions for 850 yards and three touchdowns. In the Steelers’ previous meeting with the Browns, he had four catches for 48 yards. That game ended with a confrontation between Pickens and Browns cornerback Greg Newsome after a failed Hail Mary attempt. It appears the two may cross paths again in Sunday’s matchup.
