British journalist and world- renowned author Barbara Taylor Bradford has died at the age of 91. He died on Sunday at his residence in New York City, his spokesperson said.
Skyrocketing in the field of literature:-
With her first novel “A Woman of Substance” published in 1979, Bradford made her mark in the world of literature. His novel sold over 30 million copies and was also adapted into a television series in 1984. The novel tells the story of Emma Hart’s struggles to build a business empire, a role model of female empowerment.
Badford continued to dominate the literary scene by writing a novel almost every year. His novels have been translated into 40 languages and have sold more than 90 million copies. She especially loved the novel “The Women in His Life”, which was inspired by her husband’s escape from the Nazis.

Bradford was born into a working- class family in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. From childhood, he was fond of reading and writing. At 16, against his parents’ wishes, he began working as a journalist for the Yorkshire Evening Post. Over the next three decades he wrote various news stories for the London Evening News and a column on interior design in America.
She worked hard to fulfill her dream of becoming a novelist. The novel “A Woman of Substance” became a milestone for him. Badford combined his lifestyle and business principles with the character Emma Hart. As he said, “Emma was as tough and stubborn as I was.”

Bradford’s husband was German film producer Robert Bradford, with whom she had a happy 56- year marriage. Even after his death, she remained devoted to her writing. A striking fact about his family is that his mother was born out of wedlock, and Bradford learned this through his biographer.

Badford was featured on a postage stamp in 1999, as well as Queen Elizabeth II in 2007. He was awarded OBE (Order of the British Empire). He spent his life in a luxurious apartment in New York. His success made him an inspiration to his family and readers.

Bradford would start writing at 6 a.m. every day and work until 6 p.m. with a short break in the afternoon. It was his hard work and disciplined performance that brought him immense success in the field of literature.
